My Date with da Vinci

Once I saw the crowd of people surrounding this portrait, I immediately knew it was the work of da Vinci. Before the invention of Pinterest boards, da Vinci filled journals with various illustrations ranging from invention to portrature. Renowned sculptor, painter, engineer, and mastermind, Mr. Mona Lisa graced my presence while I was visiting the MET. His portrait of this—VERY serious looking—woman reflected his studies of human anatomy that were beyond others of his time. Sadly, his most famous painting is housed at the Louvre in Paris, so unless someone wants to fly me out (wink wink), I’ll stick with what I got.
